I got fired yesterday. It was just one day short of my four month anniversary with EUR. The reason I was fired is because a manager from another department walked by and saw me asleep at my desk and because I "challenged authority

It does not always take a year for SS, just remember to appeal if you get the first turndown. And not everyone needs a lawyer, but it helps. With your health issues though you may not need one. Can you inquire at legal aid?

So you've known folks who've gotten disability? I don't, except for the fellow who babysat the laumdramat I used to go to in my Philly days.

I know a few, actually. Online and off. Mom, of course, plus a few of my friends. K's got MS, Kathy's husband's got a brain injury that mimics bipolar (and is treated almost the same), and B has severe ADHD plus another mental disorder.
