I like this post. I needed a decent summary of all of this racefail.

Elizabeth Bear was on my list of people I may read in the future. but no longer. And if I decide I want to anyway? I shall go to the library where Bear will get none of my money and the library shall get useful circulation statistics to use in attempts to get funding.

Yeah. I'm just...not reading her. I don't want anyone to get any idea, at all, that there's a demand for her...and would like my library to see that there is a demand for the much better SF/F I've been reading as part of 50books_poc, particularly that targeted at young people.
