I am mourning the loss of my beloved penguin-shaped mug, Petey. I got him for Christmas, drank from him all the time, dressed him up with cookie hats and loved him like a child. Now he's gone. I almost started crying. It was my fault, which is good because I would have killed my roommates or cat for hurting Petey. He was too beautfiul for this

I have so much to say, but I don't know if LJ is the place to say these things anymore. I'm bursting with stories about my Christmas trip to Texas and my crazy New Year's antics, but I dunno if this is the venue anymore. My contract at Conde Nast was all set to expire on December 19th, but I knew they needed help after the holidays so I asked my boss if I could just kind of be a permanent temp (forgive the oxymoron).
