Oh, obviously :D But you know, as much fun as I have watching the show with slash-coloured glasses and purposely misconstruing everything in the most perverse way possible, I do long for the good old days of in-your-face Shawn/Lassiter. I mean, come on. Is one more lap dance really too much to ask for?
Shawn/Lassy: Not much, Shawn worried that Lassy hurt his arm again.
I'm so needy of some Shassy scenes, that even that little thing made me happy.
Man, the first season is being aired now around here (I'm from Spain) so I'm watching it again and how I miss all the Shassy. Right now it's being aired Game, Set, Muuuuurder and all I can think is why the writers gave us all that slash if they were going to left us with practically nothing in the second season.
(And you know what? The dubbed version here sometimes is even more slashy, Shawn calls Lassy "sexy" once xD)
About the Shawn/Jules thing, hopefully, after that experience Shawn wouldn't want to propose to her again xD
Gus and Shawn in the park was hilarius, I think it was my favourite part of the ep.
And I can say now that I officially love chief Vick. Lassy's present was the best xD
Yeah, the total lack of Shassy has me so very bummed lately. There's hardly been any and it's been so few and far between. Season one was much much slashier.
Yeah Shawn/Jules I have to wonder if that was thrown in more for James and Maggie or for fan service. Who knows. But seriously, I've always thought Jules/Gus was way better and Jules' ramblings over the wedding and baby-birthing had not changed that opinion at all.
I love Vick, and seriously she and Henry totally hooked up before she was married and after he was divorced.
It seems season 2 is the season of Gus/Shawn (what's the fannish word for Gus/Shawn? Shuster? Spus? Guawn? See, this is why Shassy will always triumph). Maybe the writers are alternating? Eh.
I too love the fact that Shawn looked like he wanted to gouge his eye out with a rusty spoon when he was only fake married to Jules. Maybe that will nip this so called "heterosexuality" in the bud.
This show wasn't great, but it portrayed Lassiter as good at his job. I think the writers have his dumbed down for Le Humor, which pisses me off to no end. Anytime Lassiter's naming off camera types and ordering the underlings around it adds to Le Sexy.
The Vick thing bugged me. She was acting highly unprofessional for someone with her job responsibilities with insulting Lassiter and screaming about coffee in front of the entire station. It was kind of the "Haha! Women can't control their hormones!" Does it bug me that the two authoritative females in the show act unprofessionally? Yes. I'm I reading too much into it? Maybe.
The term is Shus actually. Shassy is better though ;)
Indeed, I was glad to see that, basically if the writers ever chose to actually try Shawn/Jules I will laugh at them and take my paltry dvd moneys elsewhere, because that relationship is ridiculous in it's unbelievability for me now.
Competent-Lassy is a personal favorite of mine, I hated the few first season eps that showed him as entirely incompetent. The point is always humor obviously but as far as I'm concerned that sort of scene will never make me laugh. I love all the characters, humor at Lassy's expense does nothing for me. Bossy-Lassy is hella hot.
I think the thing that's so weird about Vick n Jules this episode is ... this ep was written by a woman. The complete 'women are batshit over babies and marriage' thing that was persistent throughout was ... really annoying in the face of that information. The string of shitty-nannies also added to an general feel of 'women are incompetent'. I was willing to accept Vick's batshitiness this ep, but Jules was much less

Maybe this is just me being a desperate fangirl, but I LOLed somethin' fierce at that.
I was also terribly embarrassed for Gus at the playground. Oh... my... At least Buzz swooped in to save the day.

Obviously Shawn was eluding to 'last night' with that 'wonderful psychic journey' thing ;)

Written by a woman, huh? We always seem to dig our own graves.
