What: Episode Review
Which: Psych 2.08 - Rob-A-Bye Baby
Who: PookaSeraph
Rating: B-
Warning: I like jelly beans

There were several moments in this episode where watching I was horribly embarrassed, minus points, show. Had some funny, not 'omg i have to watch it again right now', so a minus tick for that.

Shawn asking how babies are made and Henry's answer was ... hilarious. Shawn's mom also officially exists when Shawn is at age eight-ish. Thank goodness.

Shawn and Gus at the playground was *incredibly* creepy. Obviously that was the point, but it was just too over the top. Buzz coming and making them leave the playground was good though.

Shawn and Gus were hilariously five years old at the start, fighting over shotgun, fighting over everything. Vick is also incredibly cranky when she has no sleep, also amused that she gets all offended at the idea that Shawn and Gus take private cases when they are working police cases.

I enjoyed Henry+Shawn's driving around talking police, robberies and nannies was fun.

Shawn's 'proposal' to Juliet nearly made me vomit. My only consolation is the fact that Shawn looks to have instantly regretted it.

Gus hiring a nanny who was pretty much exactly like him was pretty lolz. The ep felt a little repetitive for some reason. Maybe it's because they kept going back to the same 2-3 scenes or something?

I liked the bunny-bump at the end. And that we know baby-vick's name: Iris. Also liked Lassy being able to ID the camera. Also Shawn and Jules looking out for Lassy even though he had been a meany-pants lately. The baby gifts were great.

I also liked that it was Gus who did the footwork to find a nanny and it was Henry that Shawn dumped the job on at the end. Also that Karen approved of the arrangement.

Gay Watch:
Shawn asking Gus to play my two dads (even if the show premise isn't 'gay' per se). Shawn taking the name Levon. Shawn mentioning his ass burning.

Ships:
Shawn/Juliet: As someone who was not a fan of this ship i was a little worried when I saw the preview. The marriage proposal and such was also shippy. Shawn also pulling that 'future visions of marriage' thing. Shawn seemed pretty un-thrilled by Jules by the end though.
Shawn/Gus: Shawn asked him to play my two dads with him. They played 'scary guys' over at the playground, must be love.
Shawn/Lassy: Not much, Shawn worried that Lassy hurt his arm again. Shawn offering Lassy a wonderful psychic journey.
Lassy/Jules: The same as Shassy but with the added bonus of cranky lovers-spat.
Henry/Vick: As far as I'm concerned it's canon.
