I think my friend serasempre was going to watch it. I don't get Lifetime right now (my cable is spotty, at best), so I was disappointed. I haven't read the books. Maybe I should do that, then get it on DVD.

The books are great! If your local library doesn't have them, request them through the Minuteman Library Network.

I hope the show is successful enough t make it to DVD! Unfortunately, it's on Lifetime (this show is a significant departure from their usual programming), and it's up against Battlestar Galactica, so with my luck it'll be a one-season wonder. That's why I'm going to put a bit more effort than usual in spreading the word in hopes it'll catch on.

Unfortunately, I don't know how to make a torrentable file, or I'd do it myself. I hope someone will step up to the plate!

I was sitting on the other side of the loveseat while chicken_cem watched the debut, and I loved it too. :D My only small dislike was the slightly not up to snuff bit of FX thy used for the final demon. Other than that I have to give it a pretty glowing review. I love love loved Christina Cox, but then again I've had a crush on her since Better Than Chocolate. *purrs*

And, while I'm here gabbing, Hi! Great going on the whole health stats thing. :)

Hi Bunny! How've you been?

I concede your point re the semi-cheesy SFX, but that's not a high priority for me (I just sort of look past it); I focus on writing and acting. I've never seen Christina Cox before, and now I can't think of anyone who'd be better in the role.

And Kyle Schmid as Henry? Yum! Even you must concede that he's pretty. ;) And Celluci's mighty easy on the eyes, too.

I've been fine. I really should post/update more, but I'm a lazy bunny.

Kyle is a bit of loveliness, and although in my mind when I read the books I had Celluci with darker hair, the guy they've chosen is cute enough for me to let it slide. I sure do hope they keep Henry bisexual in this series, or I'll be bit miffed.

If this were on Showtime, I'm sure they would... but it's on Lifetime, so I doubt it. I hope I'm wrong, though!

I watched it. I'm not familiar with the books, but I was curious. Plus, the Henry was too hot not to check out. The only thing that's gonna suck is that it's on opposite BSG and I only have cable on one tv. I watched Blood Ties and just taped the later showing of BSG.

I'm glad you took a chance on BT! Would you consider dropping Lifetime a quick e-mail here to tell them you liked it? BSG is inded formidable competition, and I'd hate to see BT become one of those excellent-but-canceled-after-a-few-eps shows because Lifetime didn't give it a chance to build an audience.

I can definitely email them with my thumbs up. I had been hoping that it would be a 9pm show, but I'll find a way to deal with the conflict. That's what DVRs are for.

Give me a few days, sweetie; I'm going to try to figure out how to convert and edit the file on my DVR into something uploadable.

In the meantime, check the torrents; I'm really hoping there'll be other enthusiasts stepping up to the plate!
