Blood Ties premieres tonight!

TV alert: Blood Ties, the TV series based on the series of Blood books by Tanya Huff, premieres tonight (9-11 PM Eastern Time) in the USA on the Lifetime cable channel. I can't wait to see it!

Eeeeeee! Christina is really good as Vicki! I was a little worried because I wasn't sure she was going to be serious enough, but she's REALLY GOOD.

Henry is not at all what I'd pictured from the books (I'd imagined him more heavy-set/solid, and this actor's more slender in the shoulders) but I'd seen pics of him before tonight so I knew what he was going to look like in the show. And there's certainly no question that he's gorgeous, LOL!

And Mike is PERFECT. Okay, 95% perfect, which is a heck of a lot better than you usually get with book-to-TV adaptations.

Oh yeah! I'll probably watch it again tonight. :)

Of course, with my luck (and since it's up against Battlestar Galactica), it'll probably be a one-season wonder. That's why I'm willing to make some effort to spread the word in hopes it'll catch on.
