I am so pumped right now. I just got back from the Solstice Service at my UU church, which included a West African drum circle -- I LOVED it. It brought back the same feelings I used to get when I tap danced (after all, what is tap dancing but drumming with your feet?) and reminded me of how much I miss dancing (I had to stop dancing several years ( Read more... )

You should have seen the drumming! Wait, in all of your travels, you probably have. :) Have you ever participated in a drum circle? It was so energizing! Just thinking about it makes me perk up. :)

I hope I'll see you on New Year's, but if I don't, I'll understand; the kids come first.
