Oh, baby. Brian Stokes Mitchell. I saw him in Kiss Me Kate when given some tickets, and holy shit, he's such a star. He has the same vibe I got from Kevin Kline when I saw him onstage the first time, pre stardom. Why is this man not huge?

That is a question for the ages; I wish I knew the answer... But -- squee! His long-awaited solo album will be released on June 6!

Aw, thank you, Ponders. I've long had a feeling I've lost touch with you, hardly ever seem to see you on LJ though I mostly only have time to quickskim so I might have missed your entries. Hope things are going well though you seem to be busy.

Yes, I am busy! I was spending too much time in front of my computer and in fandom/virtual communities, resulting in a nagging feeling that my life had slipped out of balance, and have been focusing on processing/jettisoning the clutter in my house and spending more time interacting face-to-face with people.

In an effort to get out of the house and meet new people, I've been taking a police class; also, this post and this post explain why I've started going to my local Unitarian-Universalist church in spite of my feelings about religion. Maybe that's more than you wanted to know... ::grin::

But I haven't left fandom entirely! In fact, since there's only three months 'til Writercon, I anticipate a return to the Buffyverse very soon...
