We got about a foot of snow today. I couldn't leave work early because I had to finish a project today, since I'm on vacation next week and it can't wait until I get back. At 2:00 pm, it was near-whiteout conditions. The snow was blowing sideways! By 3:00, it was winding down. At 3:45 the sky cleared enough to let the sun peek through. It's an omen

I am so sorry you had to drive in that. Yikes! I did some driveway-shoveling, but otherwise have stayed snug indoors today and glad to do it.

I also made lots of cookies and will make sure there are plenty left when you are here on Sunday!
