I'm not going to pretend to know the first thing about D.Gray-man (I'm going to try to start it, I promise!), but I've seen Timothy around a bit. And from your note on French, and seeing how he normally talks.... Well, I was just wondering if you'd heard of Verlan?

Oh, it's alright! :D D: And no I've never heard of Verlan before C: TBH I'm horrible in other languages, but English (and even that can be questioned l-lol) so whatever French he does use I just...use babelfish or Ruxi.

And...I'm still trying to understand what Verlan is. Is it like the French version of slang? /sob it's late, I'm sorry.

Oh okay! That's fine. Babelfish is way easier anyways. I've studied French, and I totally would not want to sit down and struggle through a translation just for RP.

It's a really special kind of slang where they turn the words backwards. For instance, femme (woman) becomes meuf. It's more based on sound than spelling.

Okay, let's get the party started.

Caspian :: CAAAASPIAAAAAAN!!!!!!! MY PRECIOUSSSSSSSSSSSSS *clings* *CLINGS!!!!!* Erm... What do you mean this is not what HMD is about??? fffff concrit.Fine. Caspian is made of awesome. More importantly, he is consistent in his awesomeness. This is the space where I'd ask about the riddiculously nice hair, but you already answered that. And all makes sense now. I did read the books once, when I was a kid, but all my recent knowledge is from the movie. which I rewatched too many times. I love Caspian's interactions with Peter. He remains himself no matter what, and I like how he's always the first one to do something. I like the way he talks, and his inner monologues... I could read them over and over again. They give great insight into how he thinks and why he makes choices that he makes. Plus, his friendship with Chuck... I really hope we'll manage to play that more and get them to another stage. All platonic, yes yes

Ahhhh thank you for enjoying RP time with Caspian! I'm glad you like his inner monologues, sometimes I wonder if they even make sense. I used to not be a cerebral sort of writer but Caspian has made me want to work out in words what's going on in his head. I guess that's because out of my characters he's the most thoughtful or at least willing to continuously think, question, and dream, all of which I derive from his behavior in the movie and in the books

Adrian is the only one of your characters whose canon I know, so the only one I’ll address. (Well, there’s Cori, but you already seem to have plans for him.)

I think you really have Adrian’s voice down, and I enjoy reading his threads. He has a snobbish stiffness where you can tell he’s really, really trying to think like the common man and not belittle him, but it’s kind of against his nature to achieve that. I’m not ashamed to say I’ve read everything on his every post (soooooooooob, okay, maybe I am). That said, I wonder if he might get a bit more involved trying to eliminate the feuds & conflicts in the City...? On the one hand it’s a project doomed to failure, and I guess it might at one point apply a heavy hit to his confidence, but if you ever lack things to do with the character? I know you've given some thought to this issue already, so I guess this is useless forever.

Iiiiii still don’t know Rosella’s canon (s-sob, my e-stammer is strong), but I think you’ve done a really spectacular job of developing her in the past couple of months, and keeping her voice fresh, and interesting, and engaging. Genuinely a pleasure to read her posts. I’m sorry I don’t have as much of an opportunity to tag her anymore, but I did want to say that I enjoy what you’re doing with her very much.

I love her canon so much. Particularly her game, because we know for a fact that it takes place over the course of exactly twenty-four hours, and with all the stuff you have to do in game, when you sit back and really think about Rosella as a character, it's like, "...She did all that. In one day. Seriously?" So I think that gives her a unique threshold for weirdness. But I've been worried lately that she's been getting a little annoying, so I'm glad to hear she's still interesting and engaging!

Also, threading with Kanda was hilarious, even if it was short. She hasn't forgotten his comments about the length of her posts, and so she may very well go out of her way to make her posts as long as possible now, just because he offended her and she wants to subtly offend him right back.

Iiiiiii don't know Rosella's canon all that much either but like Ruxi said I think you do a wonderful job keeping her in the game, especially for so long. Everything she does still feels like the Rosella you introduced to the game. She's grown too and I think you do reflect her experiences in her interactions. I don't tag her a whole lot but when I do I really enjoy it and overall I love seeing her in poly.

A note about science and Ed: I'm pretty sure I've stumbled with how much sense the alchemy- or science-related spiels make, though I'm trying to keep Ed's knowledge of science/tech pre-1914 (aside from any logical relations it might have with automail or in-game development). For example during the cake monster curse, I said lemon juice glows in the dark but I realized a day later that I'd completely neglected to say "under UV lighting" which would've made things a lot more clear... and then there's the obviously BS'd stuff, like city taxonomy. Soooo if I spew something that doesn't make sense, please don't hesitate to ask for clarification IC or OOC, because I've got a fairly decent grasp of basics and google is my homepage ;)

It's been a while since I reviewed FMA, but I really enjoy Ed's threads with Roxas, even though they're always so terribly serious about everything when they talk. That seems to strike me as fairly on the mark, if I recall correctly: Ed was always more mature and focused than your average fifteen-year-old. He'd drop everything to shout at you about not being short if it came up, but he had some really clever moments. And I think you're showing his intelligence quite well?

... except, as far as I'm concerned, you do manage to bring in a fairly lulzy element that's also in keeping with what I remember of FMA. His latest post about the chart just made me laugh and laugh.

Also, I feel they should at some point meet and possibly form a Short Kids Who Will Kick Your Head In If You Bring Height Up alliance. :|
