A note about science and Ed: I'm pretty sure I've stumbled with how much sense the alchemy- or science-related spiels make, though I'm trying to keep Ed's knowledge of science/tech pre-1914 (aside from any logical relations it might have with automail or in-game development). For example during the cake monster curse, I said lemon juice glows in the dark but I realized a day later that I'd completely neglected to say "under UV lighting" which would've made things a lot more clear... and then there's the obviously BS'd stuff, like city taxonomy. Soooo if I spew something that doesn't make sense, please don't hesitate to ask for clarification IC or OOC, because I've got a fairly decent grasp of basics and google is my homepage ;)

It's been a while since I reviewed FMA, but I really enjoy Ed's threads with Roxas, even though they're always so terribly serious about everything when they talk. That seems to strike me as fairly on the mark, if I recall correctly: Ed was always more mature and focused than your average fifteen-year-old. He'd drop everything to shout at you about not being short if it came up, but he had some really clever moments. And I think you're showing his intelligence quite well?

... except, as far as I'm concerned, you do manage to bring in a fairly lulzy element that's also in keeping with what I remember of FMA. His latest post about the chart just made me laugh and laugh.

Also, I feel they should at some point meet and possibly form a Short Kids Who Will Kick Your Head In If You Bring Height Up alliance. :|

I really enjoy their threads too! Ed doesn't get the opportunity to be serious often, so I appreciate their conversations.

Ahhh the 28th's curse would've been perfect for that. I can see that alliance happening... it'd be called something like Awesomeness Incorporated™ and the only entrance requirement would be that no one over the height of 5"2' could join =P

Briiief, brief comment, since I am one of the few animanga fans out there who's never read FMA, but.

I'm definitely impressed by how much effort you seem to be putting into him re: taxonomy! It might be slightly BS'd, but it was really fun to watch, so I hope that you keep him up and around the City.

Your last post was awesome, and so very Edward, I think. Please excuse me for basing crit basically on that because there's so much to follow in Poly that I hadn't been watching Ed very much. It's been ages since I've read/watched any of FMA, but I am having fun interacting with him, and I'm glad he didn't go all spazzy-oh-magic-doesn't-exist at me because I can definitely see Edward being able to accept something like that as long as he can find proof of it.

I look forward to more epic discussions of balancing the universe in the future. ♥ And maybe creeping Ed out a little idk. Yuuko does that sometimes.

On magic, I think he'd still be wary of it even if he had to acknowledge it was real, which is why I always have him try to put it in the context of the things he already knows. It works out fairly well most the time, actually, especially with Yuuko! So I'm looking forward to more interaction there too. Commence creeping out Ed, it's fun ♥

Yeah I'd like to see more serious Ed too, but come time to post, I have trouble thinking of anything serious he'd really put on the network unless he was cursed. But I'll try harder to do that! He's more serious in tagging and it depends on who, so I'll try working him around to regarding Kimblee as more of a threat soon XD;
