I feel ______ about my story: Excited!
Snippet:Rob was on his best behavior in the restaurant. He was careful to take Miss Holly’s summer rain coat and umbrella and hand them in at the coat check. And he pulled out her chair himself, even though the host seemed willing and able. He didn’t sit down until he was sure she was comfortable ( ... )

I feel ______ about my story: optimistic! I have an awesome enabler, and I'm really pleased with how it's looking so far.
Snippet: “Holy shit, is that her?” Chris said under his breath, making the other two men follow his gaze in the direction of the window and the girl who was peering through it; she was wearing a red sleeveless dress, there was something tattooed on her left arm and her long black hair was held back in a style that reminded Jeff of Bettie Page. “I’d like her to ride me like -” and he broke off as Jeff stared at him with a smile twitching at the corners of his mouth.

The bell rang as the studio door opened, and then there was the click of high heels across the polished wood floor - and as the girl drew closer they could make out the hot rod cars covering her arm from shoulder to elbow. “I’m Daisy - I’m here about the receptionist’s job,” she went on, raising a brow as she glanced up at the speaker mounted on the wall which was currently disgorging Gypsies, Tramps ( ... )

I feel ______ about my story: in love with the concept/excruciatingly anxious putting it down in words
Snippet:

She’s lost bits of herself along the way, scattered behind her like breadcrumbs and Jeyne can’t recall that girl anymore, who she was before, but she thinks about her sometimes, like now when she can’t escape her.

This is not where we were supposed to end up, this isn’t--, she hears her in her head and she can almost see her bite her lip, worry lining her familiar features, like looking into a mirror, this girl who’s face was hers--but it’s not her, not anymore; Jeyne doesn’t think that’s her stomach that churns at the memory of Robb’s mouth meeting Jon’s over her shoulder, their hands skimming over each other in ways she only imagined, at the way Robb’s hand looked curled around Jon’s cock--visceral and raw and real.

Don’t be such a child, Jeyne tells her, and wishes she could kill her with hands around her own throat, then moun her as ( ... )

Marry me, this is amazing. Except I read "real" at the end of paragraph 2 there as "eel". dnw.

It's a modern apocalypse AU--meaning it's super scary. But I am glad you like it (even though your brain self-edited DNW words in there).
