Hello Clock Explorers!
Are you ready guys? It seems like logging out all the events of this expedition with so very many characters involved would be difficult at best. So it would probably make more sense to OOCly map out what's going to happen instead.
So here's the run-down of events in the Great City Express Adventure (needs a better name...), as far as they are presently known:
→ In the days after the planning meeting (so that'd be today), the group will make its way to the Underground tunnel in which is found the City Express train. The idea seems to be that the train appeared with some purpose. So let's use it. Get your guns on.
→ When they arrive at the train, Myrnin will be messing around with the train and how it might work. The blood connection should be pretty quick to make there, given the poster inside and the history of the train and since Myrnin has some knowledge with blood-powered items. Someone could even test it with a drop or two to get the thing to lurch forward a little, horribly.
→ So, blood will be needed. Fortunately, both Rory Williams (RN) and Robert Chase (MD) will be on hand to help with blood donations. And there are several characters involved who can give large amounts of blood without dying (but not without pain) and have offered to give what they can. I think nearly everyone has volunteered at least a little blood. They can get this train rolling with all of this, surely.
→ Rory's idea is to offer the blood in the train's engine or boiler room--seems sensible.
→ If anyone wants to get cheeky and try using red syrup or red paint, please do so! Save everyone from fainting...
→ After "paying the fare," they'll set off on their journey on the train (but I doubt it'll be a pleasant one, somehow).
And then...?
Act II--!!
How does this sit so far with everyone involved? Anything else to add?
Also, even though we're not logging this all out, this is a really great opportunity for characters to meet one another. So here's what we can do instead:
Drop a comment on this post with some contact info and a brief summary of what your character might say and do during all of this, how he or she would act or seem to others, and sort of paint a picture of what your character would generally be doing during this whole ordeal.
Meanwhile, watch these comments and see what everyone else is doing and chat it up, bounce ideas off of each other, talk about what might happen between characters. And if you leave your contact info, we can talk to each other more easily when this plot is over about carrying on the connections created in all of this.
...but do hang on for full details on this fantastic voyage (wat?) before saying too much--!
