Seriously, the laws against abortion and birth control, and people wanting to control access to them, are purely religious. To men like this, god made woman to serve man, and if we can control our lives by controlling our fertility, we don't Have to obey men like them any more and can leave if he abuses her.

i can't even fathom this level of impotence this implies, it's hard enough just having a personal relationship that works, the opposite of sex, let alone a political religious overtone to our mere existence. i was led to believe that life was a miracle and sacrosanct, but now i think it's just another excuse for a handful of profiteers.
