Chauffer (530 am, take kid to school. 245 pm, pick kid up. Take kid to social occasions as needed, minimum once a week. Take mother to any activities ( Read more... ) -
Feelings and stuff
I don't really post often over here, since Facebook came out. By the same token... all my family Reads my facebook. I can't really post there to vent about the current situation. That leaves me either burdening a good friend who will admittedly let me rant, or... Posting here again. I expect I will probably do the latter a fair amount ( Read more... ) -

Vacation
I need to find friends in Annapolis that are good hearted enough to put up with the kids and I this summer for cheaper then the hotels are costing, to go visit my inlaws... Hotels in that area are terrifyingly expensive! -

Reason 1 why I listen almost only to filk music these days...
I have yet to hear of a filk singer living such a degenerate lifestyle that I can't let my daughter hear about them... -
Tornadoes, and slums
Today I got to see a good sign of humanity worth saving.
Yesterday a tornado went through the worst of the slums in my town. Oaklawn. This place was built in the 40s ish to house WWII aircraft workers for Boeing, and because the aircraft folk moved on into real housing, and the poor moved in, the houses were never torn down and replaced with ( Read more... ) -
Hersheys
Apparently today is national Hersheys day.
In honor of this my college's student union is offering free chocolate... Complete with a chocolate fountain, with marshmallows, strawberries, bananas, and angelfood cake, and rice crispy treats...
