I wasn't surprised with this decision really. I do remember the court ruled in favor of a school district telling students to turn their American flag tee shirts inside out during a school wide 2010 Cinco de Mayo celebration. And wasn't there another case with a high school student protesting across the street with some sign or tee shirt, and SCOTUS ruled in favor of the school administration and against the student.
