Finished 1st Draft

I finished the first rough draft of my feature film script yesterday. It will be workshopped next Thursday. In the interim week I intend to finish an edit on a quickie short film my girlfriend and I shot together a couple weekends ago. Then I need to write out a short script she and I outlined awhile back, and we'll be moving forward with all that

I made myself write a short story recently just to finish something, for once. I have like, 4 different half finished writing projects and I just. . . Don't finish?

Also, who is your girlfriend? When did you start dating?

I've seen you mention her a few times on FB, but since I'm completely disconnected from your life otherwise, I know nothing about her.

I don't talk a lot about my girlfriend on FB because I have an abusive ex-girlfriend who is a major stalker. She used to look up all the new girlfriends of her other exes and ask me to find fault with them and agree in all the ways they were terrible and less pretty than her. She probably figured out who my girlfriend is anyway, but I didn't need to make it easy for her.

My girlfriend also doesn't talk about me a lot on FB because she's Latina and her extended family are nosy. So it works out that neither of us really put our relationship there, keeping it mostly to ourselves.

We've been seeing each other since last May -- she actually came to New Mexico for Christmas and to my sister's place in Nashville for Thanksgiving. Right now we're planning when we'll be going to visit her family in El Salvador.

She likes movies, architecture, and has a dark sense of humor, so she suits me quite well :)
