Rogue made a sleepy noise of mock-protest. She loved being woken up by an affectionate Ned Coates, but lord did the man have grabby han- wait, why was it cold?

She blinked lifting her head from what had to be a goose down pillow and looked around his hut. Except it wasn't a hut, it was a... well, a cabin. She looked over her shoulder at Ned, confused, then back around, then she turned in his arms to press against him, because he was warm, too, and gave him a little shake.

"Hey," she said, scooting farther under the blanket until she was covered up to about the back of her head.

Ned smoothed his hand down Rogue's back, ending just above the rise of her arse.

"Too early," he mumbled. "I'm a Nightwatchman. M'not good at mornings."

"Ned Coates, take a look at what someone's done to your house," she said, arching an eyebrow. She looked down under the sheets after a moment because she'd gone to bed wearing very tiny, cotton soccer shorts and now was wearing oversized flannel pj bottoms that were riding up her legs.

"...Hey, now...!" she mumbled, snapping the thick comforter back down over herself. "What 'n the hell-? Oh mah God," she said, looking past Ned to the window, that had glass in it.

"Ned, would you look?"

"I'm up," said Ned, sitting up and blinking blearily. "Gods, you're as bad as my mother."

He was quiet for a while after that.

"What...the..." He poked her in the arm with a chill finger. "You're not in a coma somewhere again, are you?"
