✰ PROMPT
This one's based off a meme, so you've probably seen it floating around LJ. Make sure you have an hour and fifteen minutes free.
★ Choose a pairing, character, or Pokémon type.
★ Open your music playlist and put it on shuffle.
★ Write a fic inspired by the first song that plays. You have fifteen minutes ONLY to finish your fic. You may skip instrumental tracks & songs in foreign languages. (Need a timer?)
★ Play a second song at random and start writing a second fic, again giving yourself only 15 minutes.
★ Continue until five songs play and you've got five fics. You can use as much time as you want to clean up typos, fix tense agreement, clarify wording, etc., but you should not add or subtract content from your fics once your time limit is up.
★ You can bend these rules a little if you have to. The only ones that are set in stone are the 15 minute time limit, a playlist of at least 30 songs (try Pandora if the lack of understandable music on your playlist is causing you problems), and 5 songs x 5 fics. Anything else is flexible. If you need to make an english-only playlist, go for it! If you want to rearrange your fic order once you're done, that's fine. Only spend ten minutes writing? Good for you! You get the idea. The point is that you WRITE; the rules are supposed to give you structure, not hinder you.
