Old School Games.

I'm very new to Pokemon - I couldn't even afford the card game when I was little! So I've finally got myself an old GBA and started playing, and having had all the fun I can out of Leaf Green, I was thinking I would start playing Emerald. Thanks so much! Now I realise that the super cheap Ruby I bid on was cheap for a reason. D:
Gah, well the hunt for a genuine game starts again!

Have you tried a game store like Gamestop? D: It sounds like that will be your best bet because that's INSANE.

I know some people who have bought fakes from GameSpot as well, so make sure you are vigilant here too.

The only store I know of that sells GBA games at all is a 2 hour drive away.. and they want $AU65 per game! But I suppose it is the only way.
I'll ask some friends if they know any stores in this city first, fingers crossed haha

But at least with Gamestop you can return the game, or exchange it for another copy within a certain amount of time.

Most people don't really want to ship internationally though, and I'm in Australia.

..Which is something I will never understand. Assuming a buyer takes responsibility for it if it gets lost, there should be no problem. sigh. But i feel your pain, no one every wants to ship to me either, im in Japan. @__@

Does this one look okay to you? It's on eBay.co.uk but they ship to Australia - according to Google's currency conversion, it'd be about 50 AUD including postage.

Hey, you should also ask/lurk on pkmncollectors. People sometimes sell their old cartridges there, and it's THE most unlikely place to get a bootleg. Well, a bootleg game, at least. Some people have a couple of hilarious bootleg figures (marked as such) in sales post for the lulz.

I've been meaning to inquire if anyone's selling Pearl over there, actually.

Second this option as well. I've been a member at pkmncollectors for a year and I love it.
