Old School Games.

I'm very new to Pokemon - I couldn't even afford the card game when I was little! So I've finally got myself an old GBA and started playing, and having had all the fun I can out of Leaf Green, I was thinking I would start playing Emerald. Have you tried a game store like Gamestop? D: It sounds like that will be your best bet because that's INSANE.

I know some people who have bought fakes from GameSpot as well, so make sure you are vigilant here too.

The only store I know of that sells GBA games at all is a 2 hour drive away.. and they want $AU65 per game! But I suppose it is the only way.
I'll ask some friends if they know any stores in this city first, fingers crossed haha

But at least with Gamestop you can return the game, or exchange it for another copy within a certain amount of time.

This is true, I got a fake Phantom Hourglass there once, but at least at my Gamestop you have a time period of about two weeks to return the game, no questions asked, if you're even the slightest bit suspicious. They took the game back and got me a suitable replacement. I was chatting with the worker and he said that they try really hard to double check the games, ESPECIALLY the Pokemon ones since they know that the bootlegs are pretty common.
