Oh well, I guess I'm off to Meadowhall! Why oh why don't I still live in Preston, dang it! Or more to the point, why can't they just make it bloody wifi like the Dogs?!

Because GAME want people to come in and be all tempted to preorder Black/White, I guess? Given that the last two in-store events were in the lead-ups to the HG/SS and Platinum release dates. Or maybe they just want to piss people off. I don't know.

But hey, you gotta admit, it's better than the nearest one being in France!

Aw, I'm sorry :( When I saw the list of Celebi events that were already announced, I thought we were pretty much the last. But the fact they've only just announced our means they still might have one for you?

More Aussie peeps need to lean on the government about this-- it's the same kind of bullshit that would be solved relatively easily if anyone bothered. Like the whole 'introduce a higher rating' thing for games like L4D, etc, instead of trying to limit all games to a 'teen' setting at the most (which, quite frankly, is nuts)

I think there's one boring old fart who's cocking it up for Aussie gamers; I can't remember his name. But HE GOTTA GO

Ack, sorry! I knew I'd forgotten something.

0. Have the Pokedex.

Part 1 (you have to do this at the event):

1. Start up your game as usual until you get to the Continue/New Game/etc. screen.

2. Select "Mystery Gift" (you'll need to scroll down - it's just under Connect to Pokewalker).

3. Select "Receive gift", then "Get via wireless", then "Yes".

4. Wait until it's finished downloading. (It saves automatically.)

Part 2 (you can do this whenever you want):

5. When you continue your game, make sure you have at least one space in your party, and go to the a Poke Mart or Dept. Store.

6. Talk to the guy dressed in green, standing in front of the counter. He'll give you your Pokemon.

7. Save :)

Note that you don't have to pick up your Pokemon straight away if you don't want to. It'll stick around until you go pick it up. And if you want to get a specific Nature or anything, you can save in front of the green guy before picking it up, and reset until you get the one you want.

Sorry, typo in step 5. That was meant to read "...go to any Poke Mart or Dept. Store."

Oh wow that's way simpler than I thought xD Thanks!

So is it normal Wireless or the Nintendo WFC thing?
