 Hello, Pokemon comm! So I'm new to this community, yeah.

I, for the first time in my life, caught a shiny Snover earlier today while training my Rapidash for the Elite Four.

So... when was your first shiny encounter?

My first shiny encounter was in Crystal while I was looking for a Teddiursa in Dark Cave. It took so long for me to find one and catch it before it ran away ("Ghastly used Hypnosis! It missed! The wild Pokemon fled!" Me: @#)($@#(!), that I found three Dunsparces despite there not being a swarm and a shiny Zubat. I almost knocked it out because I thought it was a glitch, but luckily my friend was there to punch me and tell me to catch it. XD

My first (and only) encounter was red Gyarados in Pokemon Silver.

I killed it. With my innocence on Shiny 'mons back during Crystal. SOB.

After I beat the Elite Four, it was back at the Lake of Rage. I ran away after the first time and it was gone when I came back. You should check to see if it's back there after.

Hmm, I think my first shiny encounter was in Crystal. I randomly encountered a blue Diglett... I don't even remember if I realized the significance of it back then lol

Shiny Vulpix north of Goldenrod in Silver :D

Outside of the red Gyarados? A Zubat in Gold that my Hypno accidentally KO'd. The first I caught, though, was an orange and cream Zigzagoon in Sapphire.
