Monotype Team - STEEEEEL~!

Mar 13, 2008 15:17

Firstly, the Normal-type team is ahead right now, that'll be the team I go with. It'll be the last monotype team that I'll debut (hey, you gotta give me time to build this team), and I'll do it in battle mode on the Wi-Fi. Who will be on it? Will there be a Clefable sighting? How about Snorlax; is he going to sleep (Talk) through the proceedings? ( Read more... )

Bronzong. ::shudder:: You'll just traumatize opponents with that one.

Doesn't Aggron have some serious weaknesses to undercut it, though? I mean, since it's part rock, it takes regular damage from some stuff, and 4x damage from a couple others.

..I want to level a Metagross now. I have never done that before.

I've raised two Metagrosses, one for Ruby and one for Diamond. I have to say, it's quite the experience.

Yes, Aggron is 4x to Fighting and Ground, but that's what Roar is for ;)

Canny ^_~

Oh and I'm not trying to show you up or anything, I'm no tactics expert (obviously, lol), so it's things just like that that I need pointed out.

I've never even HAD a Beldum to start with (I've never finished any of RSE). But I've begun Emerald again and I intend to finish this time >:D Or maybe I'll get lucky with a swarm...

Stick to trying to beat Emerald. Trying to catch a Beldum in the swarm is a ROYAL PAIN IN THE ASS. Seriously, seriously, seriously.

I think you should consider Scizor or Heatran to replace Brozong or Metagross because they're both psychic/steel types.

Meh, Scizor is so fragile. I usually can OHKO him with someone.

I hate Heatran, he is usually trouble, but most games deny Legendaries, so most of the time I don't have to worry about him.

1 - I don't use Legendaries, so no Heatran.

2 - I'm aware that both Bronzong and Metagross are both STL/PSY, an excellent typing that only has two weaknesses (and on Bronzong, only one weakness or one weakness and a null, depending on ability)

Heh, the durability of this team (aside lucario, but I see he's needed) reminds me of how tough steels are in general.
