i can see where this would give her a small comfort, but dang, this breaks my heart. i can't even imagine what this character felt during all this. how do you choose which of your children you want to lose?
Yeah, I couldn't imagine it comforting very much, but the fact that someone was thinking of her and trying I think makes a difference. I couldn't imagine making that decision either. It's like the worst choice a parent could make.
Yeah, I'm totally with you on that. The notes were meant to comfort and help, but they really didn't. I mean, really, how could they? But I think they did help on the level that someone was thinking of her and her needs and that was the comfort rather than little comments of how things will be okay when she couldn't believe that. But, yeah, I'm totally with you on that. :o)
But she was sure she only imagined the stale cigarette scent that accompanied them
DID NOT SEE THAT COMING. It creeps me out how he is like, a specter in all your fics - that creepy ghost lurking around the edges of the words. But you do it so well. This was fantastic.

I've read about three Teena Mulder ~insight~ fics and this little diddy was by far the most compelling.

But, yeah, I have this, like, THING for CSM. It's weird. And probably means I have mental issues. Hahaha.
Thanks, wife! ♥
And I like your icon, btw.
