Yes I did it's chipping and cracking!

If I recall correctly, if it is chipping, cracking, and still moving, that means it's ready to hatch.

But I haven't done anything to it! I only got it a short time ago.

[more pieces crack off, and if you look inside, you can probably see some blue and black fur.]

No no, it's hatching! It's being born, Yellow! This is a joyous occasion!

But I just got it! Why is it being born so soon?

[SNAP CRACKLE POPSNAP Riolu's tail is sticking out of the egg and wagging.]

[Will grab your shoulders as soon as you slow down. She's got a bit of an iron grip there.] Calm down, it's all right.

I think it's just hatching.

[That is the sound of Yellow squeaking in surprise at that iron grip.]

But I only just got it! Should it really be hatching so soon?

[Loosens her hold.] Some Pokemon eggs can hatch really fast, especially if you take good care of it. [Will move to the front to take a look at it.] An egg wouldn't continue to crack like this on it's own. It's because the Pokemon's ready to be born.

[That is totally a riolu paw starting to peek out of the eggshell, and Yellow fumbles with it in surprise.]

I didn't do anything to it though.

Yeah. I'm guessing you've never seen a Pokemon egg hatch before.

[HOLDS OUT THE CRACKING POKEMON EGG FOR HIM TO SEE.]

[Nodding.]

But its all cracked and chipping and--
