[It's been quite a few moons since his battle with Leaf. Of course, afterward, Kellyn had released the Pokémon. That only made the moment that he regrouped with two of his war buddies all the better.
Kellyn's sitting in a corner of the CMA, roasting marshmallows on a campfire that Flareon started. Behind the Ranger and acting as his backrest is Onix, coiled into a semicircle. The latter Pokémon is being rather quiet, especially when compared to the former. The Flareon insists on barking and batting at every ash that falls down.]
Careful, Flareon. Don't, uh...burn yourself. Wait, never mind.
[The Eeveelution glances at him, but soon resumes its mission.
Not only is there a bag filled three quarters of the way with marshmallows, but he's already got a few sticks carved out in case any company shows up. If eating fluffy goodness or striking up a conversation with the lad isn't your thing, he'd also be willing to throw down.
