However Riley has spotted a body of water there, is it one of Sinnoh's lakes? There seems to be some constructs around it too. Perhaps we are still in Sinnoh.]The pier

[Fennel had been wandering around the area and filling in some research notes on her clipboard. A Munna floats behind her as her company. The sudden sounds coming from the pier catch her attention and she decides to come take a look.]

Oh my! I believe it's a trainer! How wonderful, isn't it, Munna? [She raises her arm completely and waves to Riley.] Yoohooo~! Hello there! Are you from around here?

[Look, there was someone waving at him! Rather excitedly too. Who was she? He didn't recognise her - was she from another region? She looked like a researcher.]

If we are in Sinnoh, then I am from Sinnoh, yes.

[She blinks in surprise at his answer then gives him an apologetic smile.]

Oh dear me! This isn't Sinnoh! You've made it all the way to Awesome Island! Oh! I have not learned your name, how silly of me! I'm Fennel, by the way! I research trainers! [She holds out a hand.]

... Awesome Island.

[Riley is staring at Fennel. Awesome Island. Did you just say Awesome Island? But he blinks after a moment. He takes off his hat, tips it to her before putting it back on his head and shaking her hand in return.]

My name is Riley. I am a Pokemon Trainer. Pleasure to meet you.

[waterwaiter]

[Cress witnessed Riley's entrance from his café; business was slow, currently, and Riley may have been new, judging by his and his Pokémon's reaction, so Cress figured there was no harm in coming over to greet him.]

Impressive landing, sir! [It's not every day they see a Salamence here...]

[Riley surveyed the newcomer carefully, he didn't seem a threat so he decided to indulge in some questions he had.]

Ah, are you from this island?

[waterwaiter]

[He laughs lightly.] Not originally, no, but I suppose I've been here long enough. Did you just arrive here?

It was a curious incident. I had intended to fly to Iron Island on Salamence but now, I am somewhere that doesn't seem to be within the normal confines of Sinnoh. But where else could it be?

[He pauses as he realises he's talked far too much.]

My name is Riley. A pleasure.

[And there Riley was, still surveying the area alongside Lucario. But there was movement around and he could pick it up. If Whitlea looked she could see that Riley was peering straight at her, eyes and hands glowing blue with aura. Lucario and Salamence watched their trainer.]

There is a trainer there... and they are in possession of a Pokedex. Or it seems like one anyway. Shall we go see or shall we wait?

[He laughed at her surprise. Even if the other trainer was at a distance, he could see her shocked expression. Nevermind the fact that he could feel it as well. Aura's a nifty thing.]

Ah, Lucario... I may have caused a scene already. Oh dear.

[ Rosetta was wandering around, holding an egg in her arms, with a Camerupt by her side when she spots something flying over head.

Whoa, a Salamence! So cool! And that was nice landing.

She cheerfully approaches Riley while the Camerupt stay behind, not wanting to get close to the pier and water that necessary. ]

I'm guess you're new, huh?

[Well hello strange girl with an egg.]

New? To here? Perhaps. The winds were not fortuitous if I am lost.

[ "Fortuitous"? Uh... well, she can at least try to understand, even if she doesn't. ]

Um, well this island sorta draws people from different places, so it's not really the winds fault. [ Wait wait what is she saying. Why does she have to be so dumb. ]

Ah, it's not the literal wind but a figurative one that has brought me here.

[Riley tips his hat off to Rosetta, no harm in being polite.]

[Jun was watching the arrival of the Salamence curiously and didn't think too much of it at first...until he thought he spied a familiar face and his Lucario with the Salamence once they've landed. Despite the fact that he's aware of the fact this Riley might not know him, he still can't help but want to run up and approach him anyway. (Though luckily for you, he manages to avoid smacking into you and knocking you to the ground)]

[You look very familiar indeed. Ah yes, it's Palmer's boy. Shame that he remembers you running into things more than your name.]

[He gives a nod. Even if this Riley doesn't remember or know him, he still sort of has respect for them due to the one he knows of back home who helped train with him on Iron Island.]

Yeah...heh, for some reason I didn't think I'd actually be seeing you around here like this, but... [shrugs] Anyway, welcome to Awesome Island!
