[If you happen to be around the forest today, you might see what could be considered an odd sight. It's Iris; with a book in hand. She's scanning over the pages of the book for a few moments, trying to decide another course of action.]
Maybe if I retrace my steps, I can find out what happened...what do you think, Dragonair? [The blue dragon pops out

[Sigilyph suddenly comes tearing down from the sky to frantically chirp at Geechisu. He looks in the direction indicated and notices a familiar poofy-haired individual.]
[Iris.[How long has she been here? She hasn't sought him out, so clearly her memories have been wiped. Good. The last time they met, she tried to kill him. Of course it was a failure, and her mind was simply reset... But Geechisu is immediately on-edge. Sigilyph stays perched on his shoulder as he approaches. The Pokemon wouldn't have reacted unless it knew that this was the Iris who had opposed him. Geechisu is positive that this isn't a double ( ... )

Geechisu! What are you doing here? [What was going on with her head? She felt like she remembered something from seeing him, but...she couldn't gather just what the heck it was.
Dragonair pokes out from her hair, as they waited for what this man had to say.]

I suppose the same thing you are; this island simply decided to bring us here. [His eyes don't leave Iris, but he does reach up to pet Sigilyph, who is still bristling at the sight of Iris. It seems he didn't manage to confiscate all her Pokemon, then. The Dragonair certainly can't pose much of a threat though.]
I was merely curious as to what you were doing. [He nods toward the book.]

Well...this book is supposed to tell how to remember stuff you might've forgotten. But I've tried everything so far in this book, and I can't remember something that's slipped from my mind for a while! [She knows well that he's an enemy at least. From what Drayden, Caitlin, Carmen, and the Trio have said...
She's visibly frustrated though. She'll go back to reading in the book just a bit...]

[Alakazam is brought out and both Pokemon look prepared to launch any attack Geechisu orders.] That is, you will tell me what you remember or I will force it from you.

She gulps. Well, better to say what she does remember than get wiped, eh...?]
Well...I remember from the point you came to Opelucid City to try and give the Project more publicity. You gave your speech, and... [Her mind's struggling for a moment there. It seems like she hit a brick wall there.]
...Everything's blank after that, until after I woke up. I don't remember falling asleep though... [Iris begins backing away, her back looking behind to see a tree. ...Shoot.]

[It's a damn good thing he did.]
[Archie notices the odd snuggie cloak and strange designs from further away, but he doesn't approach immediately. There are doubles - he's well aware of this - and throwing Sharpedo at their heads wouldn't end well. If this is the man behind the whole Surrogate Project ( ... )

But what she wasn't expecting was a shark to hit her. Sending her slamming back into the tree. Normally, Iris wouldn't have minded this...]

...Yep. Those were fucking stitches. ...It all made sense how she lost her memories now.]

[Iris was absolutely horrified. She...she had probably attacked Geechisu. Not only did she lose her memories of that event, but she lost her Pokemon. ...And became a Surrogate somewhere along the lines.
So sorry, Archie. Iris doesn't have an answer at the moment as she's too busy finally realizing what happened to her. Something's dripping from her eyes though; that if anything else should a be a sign to your answer.

[Geechisu attacked this girl outright - she's either against his cause or did something to upset him. That doesn't necessarily mean that she's from his world, but at the moment none of that really matters. Archie crouches down in front of her, one hand gently on her shoulder. Though he doesn't even know the girl, he knows well enough how horrifying being directly attacked can be.]
Hey... You're okay. It's alright. You're fine. [He glances over his shoulder at Sharpedo, who is somehow or other managing to look quite guilty.] Sorry for that - didn't expect it to be that powerful. You injured from that? Sharpedo's Rough Skin... Yeah, sorry 'bout that.

Iris collapses to her knees, her arms the only thing keeping her from falling face first into the ground. She really can't believe she'd be like this the whole time, and didn't even notice...]

[...Wait, what is that? There's something hard along her shoulder and after a moment of not-so-obvious examining, Archie realizes that it's stitches. At first that doesn't really strike him as odd.]
[But then he remembers what Red said about the Surrogates, and about how they've been ripped apart and "fixed" repeatedly...]
[She's... she's one of them, isn't she?]

...Thank you for saving me from him. I'm sorry I didn't thank you earlier. [That's about all she says as she attempts to get herself up. She winces when some of the stitches dig a bit, forcing another tear out. Dragonair pokes out of Iris's hair for a moment while the girl goes back to staring at the ground.
...What does she do now? She knows what she is now, but...she's scared. She's unsure.]
