Rumble (SIGN-UPS are open!)
Thank you all for your votes on the Poll! I hope to see members (old & new) participate in this event. I'm excited to host the first ever Pokemon Rumble in the fandom and I hope you guys are, too!
What is a Rumble?
A Rumble (first made by disney_rumble) is run similar to a LIMS (Last Icon Maker Standing) except contestants are NOT eliminated. In a LIMS competition, a contestant is eliminated each Battle challenge based on the greatest amount of negative votes. In a Rumble competition, contestants gain points based on the greatest amount of positive votes. The person with the highest amount of points at the end of the Rumble competition shall be the Champion (winner of greatest amount of points earned by the end of the Rumble).
How many Battles are there in the Rumble?
Since this is the first time pokechallenge is hosting a Rumble, there will be 7 Battles. One icon is required per battle. Battles will be based on the anime, manga, video games, and TCG. Regular rules for icon submitting apply for the Rumble.
How will be voting be run?
Unlike our usual challengers, voting for the Rumble will be held weekly. On the voting posts, points will be used to accumulate the amount of points gained at the end of each Battle. Failure to submit per battle shall result to no points; you may skip as many battles as you'd like but it is highly recommended you enter every battle to be proclaimed the Champion of the Rumble. Extra points are given during sign-ups for promoting the community.
Points:
First: 3 pts
Second: 2 pts
Third: 1 pt
Special Category: 1 pt
Submitting an icon per battle: 1 pt
No submitting: 0 pts
Voting per battle: 1 pt
Promoting: 3 pts // 6 pts
Banner-making: 2 pts
Please Remember!
Voting is not required but please be aware you gain a point for voting. When voting, you MUST provide a reason as to why you have chosen an icon per place. Voting in a Rumble is like our Concrit option when winners are posted in our regular challenges. For more information, please see this post & this post. If you are confused, I will be more than happy to clarify.
Banners:
Contestants who place First, Second, Third, & Special Category in each Battle will receive a banner. Banners must be 350 width x 150 length for size. If you would like to help with banners for a battle, please comment & you will be assigned; banner-making is worth 2 extra points. Banners must be done before the Champion (winner of greatest amount of points earned) of Battle Seven is posted. I will be in charge of the last Battle. Extra help is always appreciated!!
