... What on earth... [Ivy didn't get drunk. Ever. She wasn't even sure if she was able to, to be honest. She didn't even like the taste of the alcohol. But when you wake up in a house you don't know, dressed like you came up from the Stepford's wives and without a memory of last night that was the most logical ( Read more... )

[A small pale girl with blue hair nods to Ivy, while looking at the seeds with a deadpan expression and a notebook under her arm]

[Ivy blinks and looks at the girl, raising an eyebrow. The notebook picks her attention] ...Are you writing about the flowers?

"The drone who thinks she is my mother thinks that growing flowers will help my boredom. I'm not certain, but, I've never been in an environment before where I could. So I was looking for blue ones. The notebook is the map of this city I've been making."

Taking care of plants is my favourite hobby, but it shouldn't be done with some knowledge first.

...What is a drone? Some kind of insult?

[There is now a hyperactive blonde woman running to hug you. /Not dressed in her costume but normal non 50's clothes.]

I can't believe you're here! I missed you SO much!

[Heads-up, Pam. Edward Nigma's in the flower shop as well. But you'll notice a few differences about him. For starters, his eyes seem a bit glazed over, as though he couldn't be happier to be going about his business today. For another, he's not wearing a lick of green. He peers around the corner and notices the young redhead, though it doesn't appear as though he recognizes her.]

Excuse me, Miss. I'm trying to find something special. You know. To let the missus know that I appreciate her. What sort of flowers would you say are best for a surprise like that?

[...Are-you-kidding-me stare.]

Is... this some kind of riddle? I'm afraid I'm not getting it. But props from getting out of Arhkam again, 'nigma.

Arkham? I'm... afraid I'm not sure what you're referring to, Madam. Or how you even know my name---

[He snaps his fingers in realization.]

Ah! You must be the mother of one of my students! I guess I must have quite a reputation. But yes. You're absolutely correct. Edward Nigma, Ethics Teacher. A pleasure to meet you, Miss...?

...Of...course. I'm Pam? Poison Ivy? [She would have honestly thought she had gotten the wrong man if he hadn't just confirmed his name. She raises an eyebrow and places a hand on his shoulder] Look, if you're on drugs you should just... go home. Or not. Just don't get near the plants will you?

You seem rather entranced with the botany.

Is that your specialty?

[Ivy hums] More like a devotion. What's a world without plants after all...

One where none could exist. There would have been a chance that I would not even exist to begin with.

What was your profession back home? A botanist of sorts? [[Never considers the villan at first]]

What did you mean, you would not even exist...?

[Meryl is looking at the flowers as though she's never seen them before. Which...she hasn't.]

...they're beautiful....

[She nods and smiles, as if Meryl was praising her too] Plants usually are. More people should stop and admire them.
