"I heard Rickey Henderson got like $50,000 for giving up a number," Kruk said. Williams gave Kruk two cases of beer. Williams wanted No. 28 because his wife had lots of jewelry with 28 on it. That's gotta be classy stuff, Letterman said, those No. 28 earrings. The story continued. Kruk didn't miss a beat. "Yeah, [Mitch] got divorced, and he ( Read more... )

Even if I have little clue what you're writing about, I think those are lovely snippets. I love your style. :)

I was just about to post that article. It's so full of LOLing.

flipping through the pages before tossing the book back on top of a Jessica Simpson cover.

Pshh. Men.

"You know how Greg Maddux has that streak?" Olsen said, referring to the 41-year-old's string of at least 10 victories for 20 consecutive years. "I'm going to see if I can get my 10th win every year."

That sound? That's me gagging in my mouth.

LOL something about his "Little Book of Proverbs" or whatever + his men's magazine collection cracked me up.

Yeahhhhh well. At least he's not saying like, "You know that streak? How he won 4 straight Cy Youngs?"

I can't believe I'm asking this in a post that contains Cloby but I will anyway: M/G?! If you've completely scrapped it, you should at least post the part about the bad kisser. Bahahaha. :D But eeee, CLOBY! ♥

No comment on the David article. I did that enough in gmail this morning. OH DAVEY. xD

Yay for more hours at work! Yay for moneys! Yay for being off on P&C day! :D WHICH ALSO HAPPENS TO BE MAVS VS. SUNS!

Oh, uh, yeah that S/G definitely intrigued me, dammit. I knew that would happen. >.>

This comment is so ADD. I'll conclude with: Scotty trying to be like Maddux? LOLOL.

No I haven't completely scrapped it, I just don't know where to take it. I want to write the whole season but I can't think of a lot to put in it. Although now, maybe, that I'm finding it easier to write Glav's interactions with Smoltz and Avery, it will also be easier to think of things. :3

I really do feel bad for David in a way. I never thought I'd mean that but on some level, I do.

GAH I know! OH and the Jazz were on WGN last night so I caught like the last quarter and a half! :D

S/G definitely intrigued me
Possibly because there's no mention of Glavdawg yet?

lmao yes. That was awesome. I mean, Maddux gets really pissed and swears like a sailor on the mound, but so far as I know, he doesn't go around punchin' Glavdawg. Which, he really should.

Yummy I just had some Tastykake cupkakes :9!

Ahaha, you are getting inside the Glavdawg's head? That's scary xP. But yeah you should continue that because it caused me endless amusement.
"A bad kisser."
"You're really not..."
"No. You are."
CLASSIC.

I really do feel bad for David in a way.
I do, too. He's the Mets' yesman. ANYTHING FOR THE METS! The fact that he rearranged his schedule to be at Santana's PC is so telling. I mean, that's taking it to an extreme. He really doesn't have his own life, because he doesn't ALLOW himself to. Sigh. :/

Possibly because there's no mention of Glavdawg yet?
That could be it! It's just Avery being all ^___^ & damn it, he does sound like Papel. I didn't think other Papel-like creatures existed.

so far as I know, he doesn't go around punchin' Glavdawg. Which, he really should.
Ahahaha, yes, he should. But he's too cool for that. Or something.

I WANT SOME! :(

lol well it doesn't go like that exactly anymore but yeah, that part's still in the story. :)
No, what's scary is that I had to get inside Smoltz's head for S/G. x(
What's scarier is that it really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, IE worse than Glavdawg's.

He really doesn't have his own life, because he doesn't ALLOW himself to.

And that's the reason I make fun of him and question why Mets fans really like him so much. I mean honestly if Chase or Jimmy or Ryan or whoever did something like that, not just once, but ALL THE TIME like David does? I don't know how much I'd respect them outside of their playing ability ( ... )
