She wasn't quite ready to get back to dancing yet, but Saffron still had work to do at the club, bookkeeping and the like. A discordian note rang out as Jack jumped a little. He'd been trying to learn how to play and was just barely there/ He'd learned enough to try to read sheet music and he'd pulled out a stack from the piano bench. Most of it was too complicated for him to even attempt. two had stood out, though, and he had them both set up on the piano.

"Hi," he said, smiling brightly at her. "How are you feeling today?"

"Better," Saffron replied with a matching smile as she made her way over to the stage. She leaned against the side of the piano, not paying much attention to whatever sheet music Jack had pulled out. "Getting better every day. I think I've decided to make my triumphant return on theme night this month. I should be fine by then."

"That's great news," Jack said. "I'm glad you came in today. I was going to come find you when I was done. I found something. Something I think you might want to see."

He grabbed one of the sheets of music and rose as he handed it to her.

"I think it might be Warrick's? It's hand written and there's a W on it."

Saffron took the music from Jack with a puzzled look, but as she shifted her gaze down at the pages it only took a quick glance for her to see what it was.

A Thousand Ships was written at the top. It was definitely Warrick's writing. And there, in the corner, was a small handwritten note.

I love you.

"Oh, Jack," Saffron sighed. "I completely forgot about this. This is my song. The song Warrick wrote for me."
