To Saffron's way of thinking, it was a given that any good bachelor party would be held at a strip club. Something about saying goodbye to being single and hello to a lifetime with the same person really needed a send-off involving drinking and sexy people taking their clothes off set to music and possibly a pair or two of boobs in the groom's face

Back in Kentucky, if somebody had told him that this was how his life would turn out - Rachel pregnant, house almost finished, attending a big gay bachelor party - he'd have laughed. He finds himself oddly comfortable with the situation, though.

Things change, but not necessarily for the worst.

[angriestman]

"Rachel's got no room to talk about whims," says Raylan, still in the midst of home improvements. "And you're pretty much family." He pauses for a second. "To both of us, I guess."

[haolehothead]

"I don't know, I mean, I try. I'm not looking to step on toes," he says, about as quiet and honest and subdued as Danny ever gets, but the topic of family often drives him to that point. "I just want to be there for you and Rach and your kid, however you need me."

"I appreciate that, Danny," says Raylan, quiet to match Danny, there. "Haven't always had that in my life. And I know Rachel hasn't either. We both welcome it."

[haolehothead]

"Yeah, well, I know I'm lucky," he says, in a sober and quiet way that comes along whenever the topic of family does. "And I'd be a real ass if I didn't pass it along where I could. I love you guys, both, and I'll do anything for that kid."

Raylan's face blossoms into a rare, broad grin and he claps Danny on the shoulder.

"I'll hold you to that."

[haolehothead]

"Yeah, well, you better. Because I'm knocking down your door if you don't," Danny says in fair warning, seeing as how he figures that's the fairest way to do it.
