Hey, is it warmer today? I'm pretty sure it's getting warmer. Is it dangerous to be out with this much sunlight?

Why would it be?

I've already gotten a couple of burns. If the sun gets brighter, it'll burn worse, won't it?

It's been getting warmer, yes. Can you avoid going out in the daylight?

Yes. My skin gets really red and painful to the touch. I can avoid going out on most days. I was hoping my body would adjust, but when I seem to be getting used to it, it just gets warmer.

It may get even warmer than this. But it shouldn't be so bad indoors, at least.

That's good. So far it's only been a problem if I'm in direct sunlight.

That shouldn't be so bad, then. There's refrigerators and air conditioning indoors as well, if it helps.

They're primitive compared to the technology back home, but they are a nice comfort.

Primitive, really?

Compared to the environmental control we have in the upper levels of Sheldar, anyway. We've managed to keep the poison out of the air for generations.

You're much further ahead, then. I've never heard of anything like filtering the air.

Consider yourself lucky you don't need it. We've been searching for a way to clean up the lower levels, but we've yet to find a system powerful enough.

Oh, I do.

If you don't mind my asking, how does Sheldar deal with the sunlight, then?

Oops. How did that happen? point015625 May 7 2010, 00:33:47 UTC
Sheldar is underground. Travel to the surface is forbidden.

Then-you've never been to the surface at all before Luceti?
