Hey, is it warmer today? I'm pretty sure it's getting warmer. Is it dangerous to be out with this much sunlight?

Do you have reason to believe it might be dangerous?

I've gotten a few nasty burns since I came here. Can you believe it? Just from being outside!

Oh? And have you already tried to take actual precautions?

I usually avoid going out on really sunny days, and if I do I wear a hat.

It's not even summer yet. It's going to get hotter and brighter outside.

If you're not used to the weather. Just like some people aren't used to snow. [He remembers those complaints.]

In that case, what can I do to protect myself? Or is just wearing a hat enough?

For most it isn't, but there are some who find sunlight to be deadly to them.

Some? Like people who've spent their whole lives underground?

It isn't impossible that if a body is unused to sunlight that it may be sensitive to it. The ones I speak of cannot go outside except at night or on extremely overcast days without risking serious harm or death. [Like his roommate, obviously his apartment is very sunproofed for her sake.]

I see. So it won't kill me? I hope my skin gets used to it soon. My eyes already have.

I've already gotten a couple of burns. If the sun gets brighter, it'll burn worse, won't it?

It's been getting warmer, yes. Can you avoid going out in the daylight?

What's so dangerous about sunlight?

It's already burned me a couple of times. I'm worried it will get worse.

You always burn so easily?

Hm. Well assuming Luceti is anything like most islands not on the Grand Line, it's just going to keep gettin hotter and brighter for the next two months.

In my world, we live underground. I'd never been to the surface before I came to Luceti.
