I am NO LONGER CUT-TAGGING DEATHLY HALLOWS SPOILERS, boys and girls.

Rec me good post-DH fic, guys!

Things I especially like: crazy parallels, rarepairs, good writing, Harry, Dumbledore, Riddle, politics and reconstruction, warfic, dealing-with-post-war fic, post-battle/pre-epilogue, many things!

Things I'm not keen on reading: next generation fic, AS ( Read more... )

harry potter, fic, recs, deathly hallows

A week out and you're no longer cut-tagging? Fandom is a crazy place. (My parents pre-ordered the British edition, and it just arrived yesterday.) Will filter this journal out until I've read the book. Thanks for the warning.

Aw, sorry about that. Fandom is indeed a crazy place. It just seems a bit pointless cause I'll pretty much only be posting DH-centric stuff. Enjoy DH though, and see you on the other side!

Girl, can we write something together? I have forgotten English, but I want to try.

Chloe, just say the word! You can tell me sexy things about German linguistics. I'll be the Albus to your Gellert anyday. :D

Thankyou for reccing. That really hit the spot. :D

Are you still writing, hon? It feels like far too long since I've read something of yours. And you writing Dumbledore+Grindelwald would kind of be nothing short of awesome.

Are you still writing, hon?

A very belated affirmative answer to this question. Untitled, somewhat sekrit, flocked; you can see it here, if you're curious. :)

Oh dear. Glad I finished the book today. *whimper* I feel so horribly behind everybody else, but oh well.

(This is the second time since I joined this fandom that JKR's gone and released a book just after I've had a baby. And I've only got two children!)

Hehe, congratulations on your second baby my dear! At least this trend didn't start with the first book, otherwise you'd be a very, very tired fandomer.

I think things are settling a bit post-DH, but that damn JKR keeps doing interviews and compounding the wreck that was her epilogue, causing fandom to re-explode. Oh dear.

Thank you very much. :)

I missed out on having a baby for the release of HBP, but OotP came out a grand two weeks after Adelaide's two month injections. I doubt she really counted as a newborn then, but I remember nearly losing Adelaide whilst getting off a bus in town because I'd had 42 hours' sleep in fourteen days. George, on the other hand, was a grand five days old when this book came out and so I was a lot less sleep deprived. Although I must say that reading even the last Harry Potter book is very difficult with a shiny new baby to cuddle. :)
