My apologies that this is the first time I've commented on this story - I was going to wait until it was all finished before reading, but I couldn't help myself and just read it all up to the current chapter.

I didn't want this to end! This chapter was amazing. Loved the hostile Chloe/Oliver interaction and what it says about them both. Neither of them would be that vicious if they were indifferent about each other.

He turned to Chloe. “I’m sorry, what was your name again?” Ouch!

Also love when Lois has to slap some sense into Chloe: “Chloe - where the hell is your brain?" Heee.

I know you have a life (hope your kitty is ok), so just know your time is much appreciated. Love this, love Letting Go, and I will try and wait patiently for updates. Thanks! :)

Thanks! I'm really glad I can entertain you guys with my stories. I enjoy writing them and only wish I had more time to work on them. This is an origin story, so it's a departure for me, but it's been a good writing exercise. It also allowed me to alter things to my liking and change character interactions - mixing it up is fun too.

I sent Ch. 6 to my beta last night, so I should have an update ready for you guys soon. And it's quite a long chapter - about 5,500 words I think. I'm tweaking Letting Go now (no beta there unfortunately) and I want to post that update next week or weekend. I'm slow, but nothing will be abandoned.

Glad you like it! There's definitely more Chloe/Oliver interaction coming, but there's probably more of what you want in Ch. 7 ;-)
