I'm slowly but surely plodding through. I know where both timelines are going, but it's getting there that's the hard part, you know? Especially in the kittens and flowers universe because there's so much I want to fill in before proceeding to where I'm headed.

Also, can feel generations and generations of mothers and grandmothers rolling over in their graves made me laugh! It's so true :) I love the little details of their living together, and how Gideon should be having a big gay freak out but isn't, and ticklefests. ♥ !

• Marenka was named for the main character in the Czech opera The Bartered Bride. She was very proud of this as a girl, but started going by her nickname (Mara) once she came to America because she doesn't like the way Americans pronounce her name ( ... )
