So, everyone on my f-list is raving about tonight's House (someone ranked it up there with "Three Stories" as one of the best ever), and... well, I was deeply unsatisfied by it.
Oh god, I just saw those and nearly died laughing.
I love those two guys far too much.
And yes, you are a bad influence in regards to TWW. Because, seriously, this story should not have TAKEN OVER MY BRAIN. I have things to do! Like... um... well... I'm sure there's something, somewhere that I should be doing. I have a life. I swear. ::shifty eyes::
Yay, I'm a bad influence! Not such a goody two-shoes after all.
I just couldn't get the image of Toby looking at his phone bill and going WTF??? And yelling for Sam or Will (depending on who is in California and who is in D.C.) to get into his office and explain himself. God, I love 'em all. Honestly, what better use for your brain cells than these two guys? *g*
There's definitely a scene like that in my response to your ficlet request. Toby coming in and sitting in Will's office and asking Ginger to bring him the Communications Dept. phone logs and making Will sit there, totally humiliated, and watch as Toby adds up the minutes of all of the calls. The color of Will's face would be, I'm sure, adorable.
I AM writing it, and that's the bad part. My original characters are pitching a fit because I'm totally ignoring them. Poor boys.
Yes. I too was deeply, deeply unsatisfied. (And repeatedly grossed out.) I'd hope that forty minutes of House talking to himself about his own psyche would provide me with some sort of astounding insight. But no. It was nothing new.
Yeah, seriously, I think this episode was probably the grossest one I've seen so far. Eyes popping out, expanding tongues, scrotum's exploding... oh, it so gave me the heebiejeebies. I miss season one. People keep telling me that season two got better again near the end, but this was just... the same old stuff. And such a lame cliffhanger.
Really, all the episodes from about the time Wilson moved in to... the episode before the Katrina victim, I think... those were all really good. But yeah, this was a really unsatisfying finale.
I'm really glad someone else disliked it as well. I haven't commented about it yet, partly because I almost never talk about episodes and partly because I really need to rewatch it.
That was just a really bad episode for me, because once I figured out that the whole thing was a hallucination, I just sort of tuned out. On the bright side, I missed the exploding eye. On the unfortunate side, I also missed whatever point there may have been to the episode.
...always assuming there was a point. I'm not entirely sure about that.

It's amazing how busy it's been on the boardwalks and such, not even Memorial Day yet.
Coming from someone who lives down there ;)
