Lmao I hate public transport and I got used to being able to use the parental unit's cars pretty early on, so I happily suffer any drawbacks that come with being a car owner. And where I live PT is so expensive that it's actually cheaper to drive, if you drive a lot. A 20 minute bus trip to and back from central Helsinki is 9e... Even with the annual costs of having a car, the combination of convenience (travel at your own schedule, no waiting around) and cost of public transport makes it worth it. Mind you mine is brand new so no repair bills for a few years *fingers crossed ho ho ho*

My friend's staying with me for a week so I haven't been much on Tumblr either, and I feel weirdly liberated :/ It's a bad sign when a website can affect you so much. I also feel like there's probably stuff going on and people are having fun with each other, but I don't have to see it, so it's fine.

I'm sorry the brain is still being difficult, but I'm glad it's a little less bad :(

Public transit here in this particular city isn't terrible, but we really only have really reliable public transit in large cities in this country, and it only works short distances. Like, I live a fifteen minute drive from downtown Boston, but it's nearly impossible to get out to my town on the weekends once the commuter buses stop running ( ... )
