Aren't brains the worst? I'm with you on the reading thing...I can usually make short stories/essays work for me but novels...not so much? Which is terrible, and is also something I assumed might get a little better when I got a little better but I'm pretty sure I can count the number of novels I've read in the past year on one hand (not re-reads) and by one hand I think I mean one finger. :/ I have a slightly better success rate with short stories & essays.
Oh man, Thor 2 was fucking DELIGHTFUL. I love the first one because it's such a weird, charming little movie (every single time I watch it I still cannot believe people paid real money to see it in real movie theaters) and I didn't have super high expectations for this one because, you know, sequels. BUT IT WAS GREAT. Whoever's decision it was to make the whole final battle part into Benny Hill-esque portal shenanigans is brilliant. Jane and Darcy remain fantastic, Erik Selvig maintains his position as one of my absolute favorite minor/supporting characters in all of MCU (behind
