Internet, back in the old days, cold_feets and I ran a thing called Not My Fandom Fest. The idea was that people could write tiny ficlets about fandoms they weren't in, based entirely on what they had absorbed via fannish osmosis

I would do it. But I don't know that I even know enough about most fandoms to write them at all! I guess I need better fannish osmosis.

YES. I look forward to writing fic about Night Vale and Hannibal and One Direction and basically every big fandom I'm not in except Homestuck, because I'm never going to understand Homestuck.
