not my fandom fest?
Internet, back in the old days, cold_feets and I ran a thing called Not My Fandom Fest. The idea was that people could write tiny ficlets about fandoms they weren't in, based entirely on what they had absorbed via fannish osmosis.
If I did another round in early November, would people be into that? Twitter is giving me an enthusiastic yes, but I know some people do NaNo? It's not like an exchange or something you need to ~*prepare fic for*~, it's literally writing like, 200 word snippets of nonsense based on what you've picked up from gifsets on tumblr or from hearing your BFF babble at brunch or from seeing your Twitter list explode or reading LJ reaction posts.
This is Not My Fandom Fest 2010 and this is Not My Fandom Fest 2011. Let me know if you'd be down! If not...I might do it anyway.
