So, one new thing is that I've been falling further and further down the Hannibal hole. But I can't bring myself to ship them! Because I tend to ship pairings I would want to be endgame! And I can't want Hannibal and Will to be together! Because Hannibal is a serial killer who eats other people as food unrepentantly! And finding out is going to

Okay, you are pretty much the ONLY person I know who is also watching this show and... Yes. I just... I would totally read any of the above-mentioned anything! Just for the record. ;) Not that I really necessarily support this pairing either? But I just... I would read it. Probably. :D :D :D

I think Hannibal would be a good parent, too. The problem with Hannibal is that society has generally recognized assumptions (e.g., "people are not food") and Hannibal doesn't fit in. He has "people he values as part of his life" and the remainder are "people who are food", and those categories make no sense to anyone else.

It may be that I appreciate charmingly nonconformist sociopaths too much to be properly appalled by them, though. I can picture him making beautiful speeches to Will after the big reveal, trying to convince him that no really, have you SEEN people? Totally deserve to be food.
