IT'S SO GOOD. It's my current favorite ongoing comic. I like it even more than Hawkeye and Captain Marvel!

Hmm, this looks interesting :) Do you mind if I put a link to your post on my journal? It's a very fun post. I like the WTF!Unicorns! and the alternate Wolverine in love with Hercules the best.

But I'm a bit confused. Are the alternate Charles Xaviers actually evil? I suppose it may get explained in the first volume...

Wow, I actually want to read this. I've been not-reading it since you started talking about it because, due to past fanfic and manga experiences, I try not to read things til they're completely done...but if it's winding down...

Issue 12, which is the last of the stand-alone ongoing, dropped yesterday. Now all that's left is the crossover that will tie it up. I'm super sad to see it go, but you should definitely read it! It's great! :D

It's funny to me that you're so like, I love Howlett and don't care about other Wolverines and I realized that it's because my personal headcanon for Logan is basically like Howlett - Hercules so I'm just like, god, finally someone's writing Wolverine CORRECTLY.

And don't get me STARTED on how incorrectly most people write Heads in Jars. GOD. SO BODYIST.

At some point this just turned into me LARPing as an insane person so ummmm in conclusion I agree that X-Treme X-Men is X-Mazing and I'm X-happy you X-couraged me to read it. GOODNIGHT.

I mean, part of the reason I've never really warmed to Logan is def because of over-saturation. Like, my prime merchandising years (I say as I look at the action figures on my desk and drink out of a TARDIS cup) were so filled with Wolverine that I started to take it out on him that I could never get stuff with my favorites. Plus, he was so aggressively put forth as the Bad Boy! who didn't take orders from anyone! which is...against type for me XD Whereas I see Howlett as...I always try to describe Howlett, but Greg Pak really did it for me. Howlett makes me want to spew TR quotes about the strenuous life and living on the land, but TR also had a huge heard and loved his family deeply and put himself out there for people and...still did things his own way, but in a less showy manner. With less of that "I'm a REBEL" attitude, I guess ( ... )

Oh, yeah, I mean you're not wrong about Logan. I'm basically wrong about Logan on purpose.

Anyway I'm not trying to like, convince you not to dislike other Wolverines, I'm mostly just reflecting on the fact that I have already personally redefined Logan in a way that rejects a lot of the bullshitty rebel stuff because I think at his ~*core*~ he's basically just about being an Adopted Dad who just wants to be needed and also left the fuck alone and also to call out everyone's bullshit and I like Howlett because he is the Logan who devotes the MOST of his time to those activities.

I'M SORRY THIS COMMENT IS SO LONG I JUST HAVE SO MANY THOUGHTS ABOUT WOLVERINE AND VERY FEW SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE OUTLETS FOR THEM

In conclusion:

1) I can only tolerate like, 5% of all fanfiction about Logan.

2) Howlett/Adopted Dad Logan are where it's AT.

3) I mean HONESTLY, one time I saw a fic where people wrote about the Teen Wolves as heads in BOXES. Boxes, what the fuck, how would a disembodied head even live in a box? Soo ignorant :(
