god, i think i have, like, half of season three left to go? idk TROY AND ABED WERE MAKING A PILLOW FORT AND HULU FROZE AND I TOOK IT AS A SIGN THAT MAYBE I SHOULD STOP since i'd watched probably ten episodes already that day? oops.
but yeah, pretty sure my family is sick of all the OH MY GODs and HOW IS THIS SO PERFECTs and OH GOD EVERYTHING IS WONDERFULs that i keep shouting out? WHY DIDN'T I WATCH THIS SHOW SOONER?
We were on the last disc on Friday night and out choices were go to bed at a reasonable hour (we're old) or stay up until 1:30 finishing it and you can guess which one we chose XD

Oh my god, The Law & Order episode! My favourite thing: The first time I watched I thought the opening credits was just the actual L&O theme, and then when I re-watched it like twenty minutes later, I realised exactly how amazing the theme was.
OH MY GOD THAT EPISODE. Even the blocking was perfect! The LIGHTING. It was just so amazingly spot on, AND THEN LESLIE HENDRIX WAS THE CORONER AND I DIED.
COMMUNITY. UGH. I have basically forced everyone I know to watch this show, and I regret nothing. How is it so the best? Why didn't I listen to the internet sooner?
If you haven't read it yet, Jizz's Advanced Ambulatory Ichthyology is really good. Like. I know we talked about the kind of weirdness of reading sex with Troy and Abed, so there's a small bit of that here, though not a ton, but OMG the characterizations. Her Troy makes so much sense, and I feel pretty positive that most fic doesn't get him right. I've actually been very hesitant to read much because of how easily it would be to do these characters wrong.
If you find that fic with the babies, SHARE THAT SHIT. Because of reasons.
Re: Community - ah! thanks for the reminder - I have added it to my Netflix list, so I am hopeful that if I am not sent something directed by Danny Boyle or either of the Scott brothers, I will have some decent TV to watch. I hope.
Re: secret_mutant - while I am doing the X-Men Big Bang this year, I am planning to have the first draft of my story written by mid November. Leaving me time to do seasonal fic exchanges such as yuletide and secret_mutant as well.
Or at least, that's the plan. It's a good plan - just might mean that I can't volunteer to pinch hit this time around. Just have to warn for excessive amounts of cursing throughout December!
