I read an interview today where Charlize Theron was talking about Prometheus and mentioned that one of the things they talked about while filming is the possibility that ( minor, vague spoiler that won't make any sense if you haven't seen the film )

i guess i'm in xmen: fc fandom now, writing: is hard, movies, theatre, horror movies

I doubt that Prometheus will be excluded from yuletide on that basis considering The Avengers made it in this past year, and there was all the pre-movie fic going on for that. (Though I still mostly want Tiny Tower fic out of this upcoming yuletide.)

Okay, David 9 is out, but what about David 7, and how Vickers or whoever hides the secrets of humanity from him on the high shelves? :D? :D?

YES PLEASE. OH GOD AND IT HAS TO BE VICKERS. Weyland figures her out and purposely makes the next one taller. That's one of the reasons she hates him so much XD

I feel like Vickers would have some plain, empty boxes and she occasionally puts a new one on the high shelf, or takes one down and looks inside, at very deliberate times when she knows David 7 is watching, and he eventually breaks himself trying to climb up. XD

She scrawls things like "The Human Condition" on the sides and hums meaningfully while she peers inside. Sometimes she puts random objects inside and when David 7 looks at her curiously she quickly covers it up and acts all secretively. David spends hours trying to figure out what that bit of twine has to do with the meaning of life.

Ahhh I'll feel terrible if something I wrote made Prometheus ineligible for yuletide (although technically I wrote an Aliens fic and not a Prometheus fic and there was no David anything).

I really just want David and Shaw fic, tho, after watching the movie. Shaw is too nice, sadly. If it had been Vickers every time David smirks I bet she'd just put his head in a duffel bag and then "forget" him. IT'S WHAT I WOULD DO.
