Arthur Christmas is easily my favourite movie of this year. Maybe my entire existence. It was, like you said, THE CUTEST OF LIFE. My sister liked it as well, but no one in my life seems to get just how freakin' amazingly adorable this movie is. =))

Oh my god, it just made me SO HAPPY IN MY HEART! And it was funny and heartwarming and sweet and not preachy or condescending. I'm SO BUMMED it's still in theatres and not on a DVD in my hands right this second! I definitely want to see it at least once more. I might go on Friday, since my parents will be at work and I'll be home in Jersey by myself.

I have been since Wednesday, but it is giving me all the time to catch up on TV and fic I missed while my evil project of evil was still being completed.

Speaking of secret_mutant, let me know if you need anything for a back-up right now. I've got time (see sick and off work) to write.

I highly recommend The Conspirator and that's not just because I'm a giant Lincoln dork who is a massive sucker for a good Seward assassination attempt scene (although the actor who played Lewis Powell was NOWHERE NEAR as smoldering as Powell was in real life), nor is it just because a lot of it was filmed at my favorite fort (Fort Pulaski is the best thing since sliced bread, seriously), but McAvoy and his face do an excellent job, even behind the period-beard.

Okay, so I have to say that I'm really disappointed that you wrote that you wouldn't have seen Arthur Christmas if it hadn't been for McAvoy, because THE MOMENT I WALKED OUT OF THAT MOVIE I TEXTED YOU AND TOLD YOU YOU NEEDED TO SEE IT! IT WAS THE FIRST THING I DID. THE FIRST THING. I DIDN'T EVEN TALK TO ANYONE, CREDITS ENDED, I TEXTED YOU ( ... )
